Barbara J. Rosie had a very successful book launch on 29 October 2026, for The Silver Thread, the second book in her Tangler’s Web trilogy.

On Thursday 29th October, I was thrilled to have the book launch of The Silver Thread, book 2 in the Tangler’s Web Trilogy, at South Lakes Golf Club.
Kudos must go to Dan (the man), interviewer extraordinaire, for his excellent questions, comments, and good humour, even though he refused to give me advance notice of what questions he was actually going to ask!
I did get the opportunity to discuss the inspiration for The Silver Thread, the perils of telling the truth when it contradicts cherished beliefs, and the moral dilemmas facing Kira when she discovers that what is written on the page is not an accurate account of what actually happened.
We also chatted about the continuing bond of friendship between Kira and Giselle and why I chose to give Giselle her own chapters in this story.
Thanks so much to my family, friends and readers who attended and bought the book. I’ve had such lovely feedback from book one (The Brazen Dragon) so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you enjoy this second book even more.
You can view both her books in the series via her personal profile page on this website. Each book entry has a link to a site that offers sales in ebook and print formats.
