Guilt ridden over the death of her 17-year-old son, Jay, scientist Niyati Bopari heads a team that creates a Humachine (human machine) for mega-corporation Ameri-Inc. Niyati dubs the Humachine J-1 and creates it in Jay’s image. She secretly infuses it with Jay’s DNA. J-1 is the most sophisticated robot ever created and its purpose is to replace human labor. Before J-1 and his blueprints can be transported to Ameri-Inc. headquarters a rogue Ameri-Inc. agent attempts to steal them.

Anatomy of a Humachine is a science fiction tour de force spanning two centuries and crossing two planets. Book I: To Dream centers on J-1, an artificial intelligence struggling to find his humanity; the grieving scientist who created him; the ruthless head of the corporation who owns him; and the iron-willed leader of a rebel force seeking revenge for the death of her family and the destruction of her planet.

Cover Reveal: To Dream by Louis K Lowy

IFWG Publishing has wanted to commission Dean Samed for a long time: a truly skilled and talented artist and cover designer. When we signed the book contract with Louis K Lowy for his novel, To Dream (book 1 of Anatomy of a Humachine), Dean’s style was an obvious match, and we are grateful that he was available to weave his magic for us. It is with immense pleasure that we reveal the front cover.

News: top review of Die Laughing by Louis K Lowy

Die Laughing by Louis K Lowy, is a humorous, and yet poignant, science fiction, set in the 1950s, with gangsters, Las Vegas comedians, femme fatales, and the inevitable alien invaders. Saying much more will only spoil the read.

We’d like to share with you a great, and insightful, review of Lowy’s novel, which will help you decide if you want to purchase – and enjoy – it.

News: New Release – A Planet’s Search for History by MF Bnrbaugh

APSH v2b Cover_rgp

MF Burbaugh is one of IFWG’s earliest authors, and he is a prolific writer indeed. What astonishes us is that, despite the speed in which he writes novels, they are always entertaining pieces, with a great deal of action and interesting characters. A Planet’s Search for History is one such title and has now been released.

Elizabeth Lang’s evocative cover is perfectly suited to the novel because the high and precipitous mountain that is about to be scaled by the protagonists, is the opening scene, and is at the centre of much of the storyline.

News: The Pouakai by David Sperry will be released soon

We are excited by the science fiction adventure novel, set in the Pacific Islands, The Pouakai, coming out in just a matter of a week or two. David Sperry knows the islands, as he lives in Hawaii, and is well travelled (being an airline pilot helps there). He also knows how to spin a yarn. Here’s the back cover blurb:

When pilot Mark Boone is attacked by an aggressive new species while flying across the Pacific, he is forced to crash land on a remote tropical island. Working to save those in his care, he learns what life alongside these creatures entails. The Pouakai’s expansion into Hawaii makes their invasion personal and Boonie must find out the truth about what they want and where they come from. Accompanying an expedition deep into the equatorial home of these destructive organisms, he knows time is running out. If his mission fails, human life on earth may never recover.

Sounds good? Steven Spielbergish. Michael Crichtonish.

Also, we have Jeffery Doherty on loan from IFWG Publishing Australia doing the cover – and what we have seen so far is spectacular!.

Stay tuned – the cover reveal will be next.
