Mother’s Day Celebration (for a week!)

THIS OFFER HAS NOW EXPIRED

We publish a fair bit of horror in many sub-genres, and celebrating Mother’s Day shouldn’t be exempt from our itinerary! We see a number of activity lines converging to today(ish) – just a few days over two years ago we published Spawn: Weird Horror Tales About Pregnancy, Birth and Babies, edited by the multi-skilled Deborah Sheldon. While it might not seem like it – being an anthology of body horror – this work certainly celebrates the human (and motherly) spirit from various viewpoints, and would definitely be a must-read for horror aficionados. Another important date is tomorrow, where we will be officially, globally, releasing Killer Creatures Down Under: Horror Stories With Bite (again, Deb is the editor). While not specifically Mother’s Day-related, it is the next refreshing anthology of horror by our amazingly talented editor – and it certainly has bite!

So how should we celebrate this? Well, we thought of two ways:

  1. From 14 May to COB 21 May 2023 (i.e. a week from now) if anyone makes a nice Mother’s Day comment under this post (or under our relayed posts in Facebook, Twitter or Instagram – IFWG Publishing), you will be in the running for a free two-pack of books (you guessed it, these two lovely anthologies). We will count you for only one post per platform – so theoretically you can get 4 entries in. It will be drawn on the 22nd May 2023 and the winner will be immediately announced (and contacted for shipping purposes).
  2. But wait, there’s more! For exactly the same period you can play it safe and purchase both anthologies for the price of one. A steal. If you click here you will get both books sent to you for the delicious price of AU$25.00. This offer will cease COB 21 May 2023.
