IFWG is very excited to announce the release of Craig Cormick’s illustrated speculative fiction novel, Demoniacs, the first book in his Revelationary War series.
“This is a truly original book,” said Managing Director, Gerry Huntman, “as it is, at its core, an urban fantasy with cross-subgenre elements, but then, astonishingly, there are over fifty multi-page comic vignettes alternating with each prose chapter, that deeply disturbs, and certainly makes the reader think. ‘Groundbreaking’ comes to mind, and we are sure readers will agree.”
The artwork (which perfectly matches the superhero elements of the novel) is by Jan Scherpenhuizen, and the design is masterfully crafted by Greg Chapman. All comic vignettes are created by Craig Cormick.
Evie Mickelson is anything but your average hostage negotiator with acute mind control powers—but she is about to discover she’s the key to a battle with the demonic forces of evil.
And Demoniacs (Book 1 of The Revelationary War) is anything but your average urban fantasy road trip novel with dark angels, ninja nuns and djinns. It is also a speculation on the nature of evil and terrorism. It is a commemoration of the superheroes of popular culture. It is a celebration of family. And it is an exaltation of just a few Bob Dylan songs.
Come along on the journey!
