New Release: Mistification by Kaaron Warren

In April 2020 IFWG Publishing announced the acquisition of a significant number of works by Kaaron Warren, including three previously published novels (Slights, Mistification, Walking the Tree), an original middle grade novel (Morace’s Story), and a collaborative chapbook with Ellen Datlow (Tool Tales). Most of these works have now been published. We saw these acquisitions as being a major contribution to our strong catalogue of everything Kaaron Warren – acknowledging her amazing talent and ensuring that her work is accessible world-wide to her fans – and at the same time introducing her new work.

Mistification has now been released world-wide, and it is a significant work by Warren, having been out of print for some time. Many of her fans would not have had the opportunity to read this masterpiece of dark fantasy.

We are also extremely pleased with the captivating cover artwork and design by Vince Haig.

“There is magic here; tricks,” the girl said. “I know because I blink and things change. I feel like I can see germs in the air. It’s damp. What if I catch something?”

Some things can influence you long after you have stopped touching them. Some things will never stop touching you, even when they are long forgotten.” His voice was so quiet it gave her comfort.

Mistification is now available in ebook and print formats from all quality online and bricks and mortar stores.
