IFWG Publishing and H.K. Stubbs had the official book launch for her debut fantasy novel, Staerstone, at Core Climbing at the Gold Coast, Australia. The novel is an epic fantasy piece (with some romance as well), but at its heart is rock climbing which is Stubbs’ passion. It was logical and innovative to hold the launch event at her place of climbing, and the turnout was terrific. IFWG was there as well, selling her novel, as well as the six anthologies that she has contributed to over the years for our publishing house.
Stubbs didn’t stop there! There was cake with the novel’s cover as icing, a raffle, other give-aways (including those supplied by us), and the pièce de résistance was, instead of an excerpt reading of Staerstone, was a visual presentation of a key scene from the novel with the aid of friends and family. Fun was had by all and the launch was certainly one of the best witnessed by IFWG, if not the most unique.
