Quill is the celebrated eulogist of the Silver Tear Mourning Company. Coerced into a tournament of funeral rites for a disgraced nobleman, he delivers his oration in an outlawed language which awakens the spirit of a murdered kinswoman. Through the spirit he discovers the existence of Lankiya, a young woman raised to be the human vessel of an exiled god seeking vengeance on the land that shunned him.
Born into a life of silence and solitude and denied a voice of her own, Lankiya’s only means of communication is through the scribing of the final messages of those who have passed beyond the veils of death. After coming in contact with an object belonging to a long dead seer, she is just about to reveal the woman’s final prophecy when her ability to deliver the message is taken from her.
It falls to Quill and his companion Daskinor, the last remaining knight of a mystical order, to aid Lankiya in regaining the ability to give words to the dead and save the land from the wrath a vengeful god.
Crowhand, Book 1 of the Sinistral Saga, will be released in mid 2026.
