IFWG Publishing is proud of its children’s line of publications. We view children’s taste in fiction as being the source of adult’s love of speculative fiction.
While our Australian/UK Imprint have a strong line of kid’s fiction, we have three titles that cover a wide spectrum of subjects and themes, and each are beautifully illustrated.
Without further ado, here are our children’s titles:
Constellation Station by Gary Alexander Azerier (illustrated by Ioanny Dimov) Karl opened the book of maps. Inside, however, there were no maps. There seemed to be…a story!
It began: Through his room window, Karl could see the night was thick, but he could see pinpoints of gold and patches of orange light scattered along the horizon. Soon, thought Karl, he would reach Constellation Station. He had been planning this trip for as long as he could remember and now, finally, his dream would become realized…
Suitable for ages 8 to 12.
Golden Spinner, written by Jennifer R Resetar, illustrated by John Powers, and with some contribution by R. A. Knowlton, is a special book for IFWG Publishing. It isn’t just a pre-teen children’s title. It is much more.
It is about standing up against school bullies.
It is about self-confidence in the face of a disability.
These important messages are presented through two children’s tales, richly illustrated. It also has wise words for parents of children who are bullied.
IFWG Publishing published this book on the strength of its messages.
IFWG has created a new cover for the title, which in their opinion best captures the spirit of its stories.
This title can be found in all good print and ebook online stores. Ask your local store to stock it. Ask your local library. If you are a member of an anti-bullying group or disability support organisation, consider supplying it to your members.
This illustrated children’s book is an important addition to our children’s catalog as it specifically addresses bullying, and how to address it at school and life in general. It also touches on overcoming disabilities.
It will be available in all good online stores in coming days, but can be purchased now in our print store. It is also available in ebook formats.
IFWG Publishing has been supporting for most of its company life causes that are worthy, particularly for children. Paper Magic is an example by our cousin in Australia, that teaches children with challenges the power of self-esteem.
We are now proud to announce the release of Golden Spinner, which largely addresses school bullying. Jennifer R. Resetar, the prime author, grew up with Cerebral Palsy and was subject to school bullying. She learned how to stand up for herself and this story (two stories in fact) draws from her experience. The title is richly illustrated by John Powers.
The description of the title is as follows:
Golden Spinner is a story about a child named Alex, who is being bullied. He feels there is no hope, life is no longer fun. Then one day something amazing happens that changes not only his life but the life of the boy who is bullying him.
Come join the adventure as a new superhero is born, a superhero that stops bullying!
The title is currently available in ebook formats directly from the publisher (Mobi and EPUB), and will be in Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Kobo stores over the next few days.
The print version will be available in coming weeks.
