It is with very great pleasure that we announce the title release, Return to the Psi Academy by Vincent L Scarsella, book 2 in the middle grade futuristic fantasy series, Psi Wars!
This book has been a while coming, but we know that the many fans of the series will be wringing their hands and purchasing a copy.
It’s not magic, it’s real…
The war between good and evil psi warriors gets into high gear in this second installment of the Psi Wars! series with our teen heroes, Henry Greenberg and Sebastian Drake, involved in more thrilling psychic hijinks.
Having escaped The Psi Academy, Sebastian and Captain Fabian come looking for Henry to help them rescue Sebastian’s father, Colonel Peter Drake, and the others being held captive by the evil Kinsman z-Prime on Level 13 of the Psi Cave. But after teleporting inside, Henry and Sebastian are met by the unexpected and find that who they thought was bad may not be bad after all.
Their adventure takes them to The Realm Beyond The Realm—the place beyond space and time—a necessary step to enable them return the Psi Academy for a face off against the baddest of psi warriors in the most important battle of the Psi War.
Amazing psychic powers are on display—telekinesis, telepathy, tele-influencing and more—in this rip-roaring adventure where the magic of flying vans, dragon wraiths, and wolfboars become reality in a battle for the minds of ordinary men. And lurking beneath all this is Henry’s struggle over who is truly good and who is truly bad.
Return to the Psi Academy is now available direct from IFWG Publishing, or through Amazon, and will soon be available from all good online stores. The eBook will be available in a few days through Kindle only.

We are pleased to reveal the full cover wrap designs for the hardcover and trade paperback versions of To Dream (Anatomy of a Humachine Book 1), a thought-provoking science fiction novel by Louis K Lowy. The artwork and design is by the amazing Dean Samed.
The hardcover (grey clothbound with sleeve) will be released early January, followed soon thereafter by the trade paperback version. Preorders will be available late this year.
Guilt ridden over the death of her 17-year-old son, Jay, scientist Niyati Bopari heads a team that creates a Humachine (human machine) for mega-corporation Ameri-Inc. Niyati dubs the Humachine J-1 and creates it in Jay’s image. She secretly infuses it with Jay’s DNA. J-1 is the most sophisticated robot ever created and its purpose is to replace human labor. Before J-1 and his blueprints can be transported to Ameri-Inc. headquarters a rogue Ameri-Inc. agent attempts to steal them.
Anatomy of a Humachine is a science fiction tour de force spanning two centuries and crossing two planets. Book I: To Dream centers on J-1, an artificial intelligence struggling to find his humanity; the grieving scientist who created him; the ruthless head of the corporation who owns him; and the iron-willed leader of a rebel force seeking revenge for the death of her family and the destruction of her planet.
IFWG has had a long association with the artist, Steve Santiago, and we were chuffed with his commission for the cover and design for The Gate at Lake Drive by Shaun Meeks, the first book in the Dillon the Monster Dick Series (noir, horror). We are doubly chuffed with the atmospheric piece Steve has done for the second book in the series, Earthbound and Down. Steve, we love you!

The following roles are at play in IFWG Publishing (both imprints):

- Marketing Director: Stephen McCracken (Australia)
- Publicist: Grace Chan (Canada – new position)
- Submissions and Content Editors (content editing roles are new):
- Esme Carpenter (UK – soon, USA)
- Warren Goodwin (USA)
- Copy Editors:

- SQ Mag Editor in Chief: Sophie Yorkston (Australia)
We also have proofreaders, SQ Mag slush readers, designers and artists, and regular contributors to SQ Mag – all of whom we are grateful for their work.
We are also currently in the process of acquiring an international distributor to handle international print and ebook distribution for select titles, with the view to better outlet penetration (online, library, academic institution, and bricks and mortar retailers). More on this in coming months.
We have waited 2 years for the sequel to Buxacan Spicerunner, and now we have the final instalment of the great pirate fantasy adventure series. And Warren Goodwin delivers in spades with Port Buxaca. Thanks to Jeffery E Doherty for a great scene from the book depicted on the front cover, matching marvellously the first title.
Sako Pizi has been very busy. He’s fought off or eluded every warship he’s encountered, and taken or looted every cargo runner he’s seen. He took a company slaverunner from Chains and Clavvish Enterprises, and neither crew nor cargo have been seen since. He looted the Northern Trading Company’s colony of Stafa and burned it to the ground. He held Sevulian Lord Arvin’s children for ransom, and did the same to Falero, the nephew of the Jono Queen. He’s currently sailing in an Alarfaji vessel, and he killed one of their princes to get it.
The authorities in Sevulia and the Republic of Agresia want to see him hang. The Tayan Navy wants his head. A noble in Jonos wants to remove another part of his anatomy. And the Alarfaji are on the way south, looking for answers concerning their prince.
A cautious sailor of enterprise might just sail for parts unknown to wait for the heat to die down. But Sako has never been cautious…
Port Buxaca is now available through all good online print stores (for example, Amazon), including great deals through the publisher. Ebooks will be available soon.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of Larry Ivkovich‘s second instalment to The Spirit Winds Quartet. Warriors of the Light continues the adventures of Kim Yoshima and her companions – an adventure that spans time and many exotic lands.
After returning from her time-traveling adventures in 16th Century Japan, Kim Yoshima finds adjusting to her old life isn’t as easy as she thought it would be. Neither is it for her friends, Shioko Yoshima, Jackson Yamaguchi, and Wayne Brewster.
All suffer trauma of varying degrees, struggling to adapt and reconcile the past and present, and what role they now have in the world.
But, all is not well in the multiverse either. Not every mythological creature torn out of time-and-place by the Spirit Winds was sent back to its own realm. Some still exist in our world and hunger to go home.
To do so, they need Kim Yoshima’s esper powers and will strive to harness them any way they can, even if it means Kim’s death.
And if that isn’t enough, an old enemy of Kim’s makes a startling return.
The novel, and its ebook versions, can be found at all good online stores (such as Amazon), as well as direct from the publisher.
