Role in IFWG: Author

BIO: Residing in regional Victoria, Australia where he lives with his wife, Pauline, a pair of feuding cats, and a friendly neighbourhood Border Collie, Garry Fay works as a specialist youth librarian.

In addition to being the published author of adventures for several tabletop role-playing games, (TTRPGs), Garry has worked as a pastrycook’s assistant, band roadie, record store manager, primary school teacher, basketball coach, and gifted education mentor. He recently oversaw the publication of the Young Adults Handbook for Public Libraries Victoria (PLV), and was founder of the Eisner Award nominated comic bookstore, Heroes HQ. 

Aside from writing, Garry’s other passion is music. In addition to having an extensive collection of hard rock/heavy metal and prog music, he runs a regular Album Club at the local library and plays percussion in an acoustic duo with his wife, Pauline. Garry’s fondest wish is to discover he was a King’s Musketeer in a past life.
