BIO: Paula Boer cares about all animals and runs her 500-acre home in Australia as a wildlife sanctuary. She has many novels, short stories and non-fiction articles published about horses. She has always loved fantasy, especially unicorns and dragons, and the weird and wonderful creatures to be found in science fiction.

Paula’s other passions are travel and the natural environment which also feed her non-fiction writing. After the devastating bushfires of 2020, Paula published her observations of the recovery on her property, including 1,300 photographs covering 400+ species.

In 2023, Paula’s essay on the impact of climate change that she witnessed in Antarctica was published in Ocean Geographic magazine.
